U.S. internationals could face off when Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyonnais meet on Sunday
(Sept. 27, 2013) – U.S. internationals Megan Rapinoe and Tobin Heath could meet again on the field when Paris Saint-Germain host Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday.
Kickoff is set for 12:45 p.m. ET on Sept. 29.
Rapinoe rejoined Olympique Lyonnais earlier in the week and will remain with the defending French champions for the remainder of their 2013-14 season. The midfielder had five goals and an assist in 12 appearances for Seattle Reign FC.
Despite playing just half of the 2013 NWSL season, Rapinoe ranked second in the league with 65 shots and sixth with 27 shots on goal.
Heath, who scored in the inaugural NWSL Championship Game and won the 2013 league championship with Portland Thorns FC, has yet to play in three games this season for PSG.
She had two goals in seven appearances last year for the French club.
PSG and Lyon are tied at the top of the Division 1 Féminine table on nine points after each won their first three games of the season.
