Houston Dash forward Sarah Hagen has officially retired, the club announced Friday.

Hagen played four seasons in the NWSL after joining FC Kansas City in 2014. She played for the Pride in 2016 before joining the Dash in 2017. Hagen scored two goals in 18 games for Houston last season. She has 12 career NWSL goals.

Last week, Orlando City Youth announced that Hagen would join the coaching staff this spring.

Additionally, the Dash announced that midfielder Meghan Cox will miss the 2018 NWSL season and return to the University of Virginia to finish her degree program.

Houston also announced the re-signings of a trio of Dash veterans: midfielder Caity Heap, goalkeeper Bianca Henninger and defender Cami Privett.

In another roster move on Friday, the Spirit waived defender Alyssa Kleiner. Kleiner played in 35 games over the last two seasons with the Spirit.

Elsewhere around the league, Seattle Reign FC announced their preseason schedule.

First up, the Reign will play their annual match against the University of Washington on March 8 at Husky Soccer Stadium in Seattle. Then they’ll play UCLA on March 13 at SilverLakes Complex in Norco, California.

Late last month, Sky Blue FC also announced their full preseason schedule.
