Houston Dash midfielder Michaela Hahn announced her retirement on Thursday.

In a news release, the Dash said she will return to her alma mater, Florida State University, to pursue a master’s degree in sports management. She will also assist the Seminoles women’s soccer team this fall.

Hahn joined the Dash this offseason as a discovery player, but did not appear in a match. She spent the 2016 season with the Western New York Flash after being selected No. 9 overall in that year’s NWSL College Draft. She has one goal and one assist in 12 career NWSL games.
