  • Sky Blue FC sealed three points at home with a 2-1 victory against Chicago Red Stars. Sky Blue’s record moved up to 3-11-13 with 12 points, while Chicago sits at 9-6-2 and 29 points.
  • Rookie forward Paige Monaghan scored her  first two goals of her NWSL career. The second of her goals lifted Sky Blue to the win, coming in the 93rd minute of the game. Sam Kerr had leveled the score in the 91st minute. 
  • The win for Sky Blue ended Chicago’s five-game winning streak. Sky Blue, which has three wins on the season, have earned two of them against the Red Stars.
