The United States women’s national team has arrived in Scandinavia in advance of Thursday’s friendly vs. Sweden.

FC Kansas City Sydney Leroux, the Week 7 NWSL Player of the Week, will be looking to make her first international appearance since October 2015 after missing all of 2016 due to the birth of her son. Boston Breakers goalkeeper Abby Smith could make her debut for the senior national team.

The U.S. will face Sweden on Thursday, June 8 at Gamla Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg (1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and UDN) and then Norway on Sunday, June 11 at Komplett Arena in Sandefjord (1 p.m. ET on FOX).

Check out some behind the scenes photos and videos posted by U.S. Soccer on Twitter, including the dramatic story behind the USWNT’s flight to Sweden, as told by Portland Thorns FC midfielder Allie Long.
