Reign FC midfielder Ifeoma Onumonu has been voted Week 10 NWSL Player of the Week by NWSL Media Association.

Onumonu had four chances created and an 80% passing accuracy in Reign FC’s road 1-0 win over the Chicago Red Stars. She made the key pass to set up the game-winning goal in the 80th minute.

With the score tied 0-0 late, Onumonu drove into the box and shook off her defender. Her pass to the center of the area was deflected and bounced to Fishlock, who scored the game-winning goal.

Onumonu is the second Reign FC player to win the award in as many weeks. Fishlock was named Week 9 Player of the Week.

The NWSL Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by the NWSL Media Association, a collection of writers that cover the league on a consistent basis. For more information on the NWSL Media Association, follow them on Twitter.
