Sam Kerr scored a hat trick for the NWSL history books, leading a 3-2 comeback win for Sky Blue FC in the game’s final 12 minutes and becoming the new NWSL all-time leading scorer in the process. FC Kansas City forward Shea Groom was issued a straight red card right before the end of the first half. Sky Blue FC’s comeback win was only the second time in regular season history that a team recovered from a two goal deficit to win. The historic victory came in Sky Blue FC’s 100th NWSL game, the first team in league history to reach the mark.
Orlando Pride 2 Washington Spirit 2
Marta scored two goals for the Orlando Pride, but Mallory Pugh equalized twice as the Washington Spirit tied the Pride 2-2. Pugh’s second goal came in the 90th minute as the rookie converted a penalty kick for her third goal of the season.
Houston Dash 1 Portland Thorns FC 1
Dash forward Janine Beckie scored in the 8th minute and Thorns midfielder Lindsey Horan equalized with a free kick goal in the 91st minute as Houston and Portland tied 1-1. Dash forward Carli Lloyd was sent off in the 92nd minute.

Breakers goalkeeper Sammy Jo Prudhomme made eight saves and midfielder Rosie White contributed with a header save off the line as Boston held on for a 0-0 draw with the Chicago Red Stars. Prudhomme’s shutout streak now stands at 316 minutes without conceding a goal.
