Portland Thorns FC beat Sky Blue FC 1-0 on Saturday at Yurcak Field. Midge Purce scored the game’s only goal.


Utah Royals FC beat the Orlando Pride 2-0 on Saturday night at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. Utah forward Amy Rodriguez scored on a penalty kick in the first half, her fourth straight game with a goal. Utah midfielder Makenzy Doniak scored in the 89th minute, her first goal after missing all of 2018 with a torn ACL.


The Washington Spirit beat the Chicago Red Stars 2-0 on Sunday at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. Spirit goalkeeper Aubrey Bledsoe made seven saves in the game to pick up her third clean sheet of the season. The Spirit benefited from an own goal and got a score from Ashley Hatch to claim the win.


Reign FC beat the North Carolina Courage 2-1 at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma on Monday. Bethany Balcer and Shea Groom scored for the Reign. Abby Erceg scored North Carolina’s only goal.
