Week 8 Player of the Week: Kristen Hamilton
Hamilton scored three goals vs. the Pride in Week 8

North Carolina Courage midfielder Kristen Hamilton has been voted the Week 8 NWSL Player of the Week by the NWSL Media Association.

Hamilton recorded a hat trick in North Carolina’s 3-0 win over the Orlando Pride. All three of her goals came in the second half and earned the Courage a win after four games with a victory.

Hamilton’s first goal came in the 59th minute, as she cleaned up a rebound in the box. Her second game in the 66th minute, the product of a give-and-go with Leah Pruitt. Her third goal came in the 85th, finishing a cross from Jaelene Hinkle to complete her first career hat trick.
