The Washington Spirit earned a point on the road vs. Reign FC in Week 9, helped along by Andi Sullivan‘s first professional goal. Next up, a home game vs. the Houston Dash. The Spirit are now unbeaten in their last six matches.

The Thorns withstood the second half pressure from the North Carolina Courage in Week 9, emerging from Cary with a 1-1 draw to improve their strong road record to 3-1-3. Midge Purce has now scored in three straight matches.
5-2-1, 16 pts
Amy Rodriguez scored her fifth goal of the season in Week 9, the game-winning goal in Utah’s 1-0 win over Sky Blue FC. Nicole Barnhart earned her fifth clean sheet of the season in the win. They’ll be in Providence Park on Friday to face the Thorns.
3-2-4, 13 pts
The Courage came from behind in Week 9 to draw with Portland Thorns FC to remain unbeaten at Sahlen Stadium’s WakeMed Soccer Park. They have a bye in Week 10 and will next be in action on June 29 on the road vs. the Spirit.
2-1-5, 11 pts
Jess Fishlock scored her first goal of the season in the 77th minute to earn the Reign a point vs. the league-leading Washington Spirit. They’ll be on the road on Sunday vs. the Chicago Red Stars.
3-2-3, 12 pts
The Houston Dash were hurt by a late missed call, but they dropped points at home to the Orlando Pride in Week 9, allowing the Pride to tie the match at 2-2 in the 71st minute. They’ve now gone three games without a win and have a tough road match with the first place Spirit on Saturday.

The Red Stars had a bye in Week 9 and will host Reign FC on Sunday.
0-7-2, 2 pts
The Pride came from behind to draw the Dash 2-2 in Week 9, scoring their most goals in a match so far this season and their first goal from the run of play. They’re still looking for their first win of the season, and will get a chance for it in New Jersey vs. Sky Blue FC on Saturday.

Sky Blue FC were shut out for the second straight match in Week 9, falling on the road to Utah Royals FC. They’ll host the Orlando Pride on Saturday, with both teams in search of their first win of the season.
