29 NWSL players named to The Guardian’s Top 100 best female footballers in the world in 2019

The Guardian compiled a a Top 100 list of female footballers as the year nears its end and 29 called the NWSL home in 2019.

NWSL MVP Sam Kerr, who set the record for most goals in a season with 18 en route to leading the Chicago Red Stars to the NWSL Championship game, claimed the top spot. Reign FC’s Megan Rapinoe was also in the top five.
