NWSL recognizes Juneteenth as official company holiday
The League will be observing the day in several different ways

The NWSL is proud to announce its decision to recognize Juneteenth as an official company holiday. Juneteenth is a celebration of liberation and is an important part of black history that should be remembered and widely recognized.  The League will be observing the holiday in several different ways with three key pillars:

LEARN – Reading the history of racism around the world and in America

REFLECT – Taking care of own mental health and well-being

ACT – Taking action by volunteering or performing an act of kindness or supporting local black and brown-owned businesses

The League staff will also be making donations to local organizations in the Chicago and New York areas:
