As millions tuned in across the world for Super Bowl LIV between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, NWSL fans were treated to numerous appearances by some familiar faces from the league in several ad spots. Check out all of the starring roles below:

ESPN: Take it to the House, Kid.

Sky Blue FC midfielder Carli Lloyd provides an assist through the uprights to a young football player in his quest across the country to bring the game ball to the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Fla.

Secret Deodorant: The Secret Kicker

Down one, three seconds left. The kick is up… and good! A crowd of thousands cheers, as Lloyd and North Carolina Courage’s Crystal Dunn are revealed to be the kicker and the placeholder, respectively, much to the stadium’s surprise and joy.

Budweiser: Typical Americans

Perennially one of the most anticipated ads of the Super Bowl, NWSL sponsor Budweiser took on the “typical American” trope to showcase acts of great kindness, strength, and bravery, which featured the title-celebrating sequences from the North Carolina Courage’s 2019 NWSL Championship and the USWNT’s 2019 World Cup victory.
