The North Carolina Courage have announced a partnership with the United Way to provide critical support for communities affected by Hurricane Helene. They will donate a portion of their revenue from ticket sales, merchandise, and concessions from their upcoming home match on Saturday, October 5th, against San Diego.
This initiative, aimed at helping local North Carolina counties hit hardest by the storm, will include a variety of ways for fans to contribute. Tickets in select sections have been reduced to $10 while additional donation opportunities will be available throughout the stadium, including at:
- Fan Fest
- Merchandise stands
- Designated engagement areas
In addition to the game-day contributions, a moment of silence will be observed before the match to honor those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Fans attending the match will also see QR codes displayed around WakeMed Soccer Park, making it easy for them to donate directly to the relief fund if they feel moved to do so.
If you’re looking to support the North Carolina Courage in their efforts, you can secure your tickets for this Saturday’s match here.
For those who cannot attend a match in person but would like to make contributions to relief efforts online: donate here. You may also make a donation by texting U-W HELPS N-C to 91999.
