Lauren Holiday Impact Award presented by Nationwide – Fan Vote

The Lauren Holiday Impact Award (LHIA) Fan Vote is an opportunity for NWSL fans to engage and show support for their favorite LHIA nominee. The Fan Vote is different from the panel vote and generates a winner separate from the Grand Prize Winner of the Lauren Holiday Impact Award which is selected by a voting panel and announced the week of the 2024 NWSL Championship.

Fan Voting Process: Fan voting will reside on an NWSL-managed microsite – www.nwslsoccer.com/FanVote. Employees, officers, directors, and their immediate family members and members of the same household, of NWSL, each of the NWSL teams, Nationwide, and each of their affiliates, and any other entity associated with the Award are not eligible to vote.

  • Voting will open October 1, 2024 at 12:01 am EST and close on October 31, 2024 at 11:59 pm EST.
  • To vote: Visit nwslsoccer.com/FanVote, click on the Lauren Holiday Impact Award nominee you’d like to see win the fan vote, and hit submit to cast your vote. Tallying votes:
    • Only 1 vote per day (per same device - i.e., computer, phone, etc.) will be counted.
  • The Nominee with the most votes at the end of the month will be announced as the Fan Vote Winner in early November and will designate a charitable organization of their choice to receive a $5000 donation with an additional $5,000 awarded to their predetermined community partner.

Privacy: Personal identifiable information that is submitted by participants as part of this Fan Vote will be used to administer the Fan Vote and will be treated in accordance with Nationwide's privacy policy, accessible at http://nationwide.com/nw/privacy.

Disputes/Choice of Law: Except where prohibited, each participant agrees that: (i) all issues and questions concerning these Selection Process shall be governed by Ohio law without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction; (ii) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Selection Process shall be (A) resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (B) filed only in the state or federal courts situated in Franklin County, Ohio state, and participant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such disputes, claims or causes of action; (iii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iv) under no circumstances will any party be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
