Sunday, June 30 – 2023 NWSL Championship Rematch

NJ/NY Gotham FC vs. Seattle Reign FC | Red Bull Arena (Harrison, NJ) | 1 p.m. ET | ESPN2

A heavily anticipated rematch between 2023 NWSL Champions NJ/NY Gotham FC and Seattle Reign FC will take place at Red Bull Arena at 1 p.m. on June 30, airing on ESPN2. This matchup looks quite different from the 2023 NWSL Championship, as both clubs have retooled their rosters and Seattle has rebranded from the OL Reign name used from 2020 to 2023. NWSL originals and long-time US national team teammates Ali Krieger and Megan Rapinoe retired this offseason, with both clubs losing a key veteran presence. Gotham FC made several splashes in free agency, including former Reign midfielders Rose Lavelle and Emily Sonnett. Joined by fellow USWNT teammates Tierna Davidson and Crystal Dunn, the new-look Gotham FC take on a Seattle Reign club anchored by veterans Jess Fishlock and Lauren Barnes.
