The hottest ticket in San Diego is going to be Alex Morgan’s jersey retirement ceremony on Sept. 7, but now fans of the GOAT will be able to watch from the comfort of their homes too.

The NWSL announced on July 23 that the game would be flexed into primetime, being featured on ESPN, ESPN+, and ESPN Deportes.

The ceremony will take place after the Wave’s match against the Dash, and while there won’t be any pregame coverage, ESPN will take the postgame ceremony in full.

The Wave announced the decision to retire Morgan’s iconic No. 13 back in June.

Fans can secure tickets for the ceremony by purchasing the aptly named San Diegoat Mini Plan, which includes tickets to the match, as well as matches on August 9 and October 18.
