Angel City forward and senior national team standout Casey Phair has been named to South Korea’s roster for the U-17 Women’s World Cup, set to kick off in the Dominican Republic on October 16. At 17, Phair brings a wealth of experience to the squad, having already made history as the youngest player to appear at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Phair’s versatility and goal-scoring ability will be pivotal for South Korea’s World Cup campaign in Group B, where they’ll face Colombia, Spain, and the United States. Phair’s Angel City teammate, Kennedy Fuller, was also called up to her U-17 national team, along with three other NWSL players, Ainsley McCammon (Seattle Reign FC), Melanie Barcenas (San Diego Wave), and Kimmi Ascanio (San Diego Wave).
