The Houston Dash have acquired defender Allysha Chapman and two second-round 2019 NWSL College Draft picks from the North Carolina Courage in exchange for their 2019 natural first-round pick, the teams announced Wednesday.The second-round picks that the Courage sent to the Dash are North Carolina’s natural second-round pick and the pick they acquired from Seattle Reign FC. Chapman will be available for the Dash on Wednesday night vs. Portland Thorns FC, the Dash said. Chapman was selected by the Courage with the tenth pick in the January dispersal draft after the Boston Breakers ceased operations. Chapman is a member of the Canadian women’s national team and an allocated player for the 2018 season. The defender played for the Dash in 2015 and 2016, before playing for the Breakers in 2017. She appeared in one game for the Courage this season.
