England qualified for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Friday with a 3-0 win over Wales.It’s a top of the group finish for England, who have earned automatic qualification to the tournament in France. Seattle Reign FC forward Jodie Taylor and Houston Dash forward Rachel Daly have featured for England during the qualifying games. Taylor has scored two goals in England’s qualifying campaign. It’s the fifth World Cup trip for England and their fourth consecutive appearance in the tournament. The result means that Wales and Seattle Reign FC midfielder Jess Fishlock will finish second in the group and must wait until Tuesday to find out if they will make the playoff round. Wales has a 5-1-2 record in the qualifying round.
