📅 SEMIFINALS MATCH SCHEDULE

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16

In a high-stakes semifinal clash at Audi Field, Washington Spirit and Gotham FC will face off with a spot in the NWSL Championship on the line. Both teams enter the match in strong form after securing hard-fought victories in front of huge home crowds. Washington, who handed Gotham two of their four regular-season losses this year, remains the only team Gotham failed to score against, having defeated them 2-0 in both home and away encounters.

Gotham, however, has shown a penchant for late-game heroics, with three stoppage-time winning goals in 2024, including Rose Lavelle’s dramatic 90’+7 goal to seal their quarterfinal victory over Portland. Washington’s offensive edge comes from their long-range ability, with Tara McKeown’s quarterfinal goal against Bay FC the Spirit’s ninth from outside the box this season, tying the league record. With both sides well-matched historically and a place in the final at stake, Saturday’s game promises to be a thriller.

  • Matchup: Washington Spirit (2) vs. Gotham FC (3)
  • Location: Audi Field, Washington, D.C.
  • Kickoff: 12:00 pm ET
  • How to Watch: CBS and streaming on Paramount+

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17

Orlando Pride and Kansas City Current are set for an intense semifinal showdown at Inter&Co Stadium, with both teams coming in on strong form. Kansas City, riding a six-match winning streak across all competitions, has been on a 10-game unbeaten run (W8 D2) since early September, allowing only three goals in that stretch. Temwa Chawinga has been instrumental to Kansas City's success, scoring in 14 of her last 15 matches, including the decisive goal in their quarterfinal win over North Carolina.

Orlando has proven nearly invincible at home, winning 11 of their last 12 league and playoff matches at Inter&Co Stadium since April, with only Kansas City managing a scoreless draw there in September. Orlando’s offensive threat is bolstered by Barbra Banda, who scored twice in her playoff debut, but make no mistake, Banda is not the only player on the Pride to mark. As Kansas City looks to break its winless streak against Orlando and defeat them at home, Saturday's semifinal match promises eager to claim their first-ever spot in the NWSL final.
