Shining Bright in the Windy City
Now under a new identity as Chicago Stars FC, the team is set to build on their 2024 playoff run with a mix of rising talent and veteran leadership. Ally Schlegel, Jameese Joseph, and league veterans Mallory Swanson and Alyssa Naeher form the core of a team ready to push higher in the standings. To round out their roster over the offseason, the Stars added Spanish midfielder Maitane and Japan U-20 captain Manaka Hayashi, who brings international pedigree after leading Japan to two runners-up finishes in 2024. With fresh talent and a strengthened foundation, Chicago is primed to shine under its new banner.
