Houston forward **Rachel Daly** scored her 35 ^th career NWSL goal in Houston’s win over the Thorns on Saturday. That moved the English International out of a tie with Jess Fishlock for most goals scored in NWSL history by a European player. Daly current leads the Dash in goals (two), shots on target (five) and total shots (nine), while also chipping in an assist in four matches played.
Ever active in midfield, North Carolina playmaker **Debinha** had six shots, four tackles and two shots on target in the side’s 1-0 loss to the Wave on Sunday. The last Courage player prior to Debinha to hit all those marks in a single game was Lynn Williams in July 2018 against the team then known as Sky Blue. Like Daly, Debinha is the team’s main producer as she co-leads in goals scored (one) and leads outright in shots on target (four) and total shots (nine). The Brazilian also leads her side in dribbles attempted (18) and will be one to stop for the Dash defense on Sunday.
**Match facts:** After losing their first game of the regular season, the Houston Dash are now on a three-game unbeaten run and have won two of those three games as they prepare to welcome the North Carolina Courage to PNC Stadium on Sunday night.
The Dash ended that three-game unbeaten road trip with a 2-0 win at Portland on Saturday. Since last September in league play, Houston is averaging 1.75 points per game on the road (W4 D2 L2) and 0.8 points per game at home (W1 D1 L3).
Across all NWSL competitions, Houston has won three consecutive meetings with the Courage, outscoring North Carolina by a 10-3 margin in those matches. The Dash had never won a competitive match in the series prior to its current run (D1 L8).
The last winless team in the league this season, the Courage have lost all three of their games by exactly one goal.
