**Kansas City, Kansas –** The Orlando Pride (4-0-3,15 points) pushed their unbeaten National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) record to seven games after defeating Kansas City (0-5-2,two points) by a final of 3-1. Kansas City had a great chance in the 8' minute to take the early lead but was caught just offside. They would later capitalize on a corner in first half stoppage time as **Mariana Larroquette** received a corner from **Jessica Silva** and netted the first goal of the game. Just moments later in the 10' of stoppage time, Orlando tied up the game when **Sydney Leroux** found the back of the net as **Courtney Petersen** picked up the assist. Orlando would use the momentum from the late first half goal as they used a beautiful counter attack to take the 2-1 lead in the 49'. It was once again the duo of Petersen and Leroux that stepped up for the Pride, as Petersen sent a long pass that found Leroux who fired it from 18-yards away to the top right corner of the net. In the 85' **Marta** would dribble through the midfield and take a shot from the edge of the midfield circle that went over the goalkeepers head into the back of the net as Orlando would take the 3-1 lead. The goal for KC was the first goal since May 23 and first home NWSL regular season goal this year. Both teams will now set their eyes on NWSL's Super Saturday presented by Ally. Orlando will head to Houston to take on the Dash on June, 26 at 8:00 pm ET as the game can be streamed on Paramount +. Kansas City is set to host the Washington Spirit on June, 26 at 8:30 pm ET with the match taking place on Twitch.
