**Tacoma, Washington** – OL Reign (2-3-1, seven points) snapped their three game losing streak with the 2-0 win over the Chicago Red Stars (2-3-2, eight points) . Action heated up early at Cheney Stadium as OL Reign's **Shirley Cruz** collected a loose ball and volleyed it into the top right corner, bouncing off the goalkeeper's outstretched arms. The goal, which came in the 1', is the earliest goal recorded in OL Reign history, besting the previous club record by four seconds when **Jess Fishlock** scored in 59 seconds in 2017. **Bethany Balcer** made it 2-0 in the 18' as she headed in a cross from **Sofia Huerta** that found the back right of the net. OL Reign controlled the game with 64% possession and limited Chicago to one shot on goal. Olympique Lyonnais loanee trio of **Eugenie Le Sommer**, **Dzsenifer Marozsan**, **Sarah Bouhaddi** all stepped on the pitch playing the majority of the second half together for the first time for OL Reign. In added stoppage time, **Bianca St. Georges** picked up her second yellow card of the match, resulting in a red card which will see her miss the next match for Chicago.
