**CHICAGO (January 17, 2022)** - To honor and celebrate the work of Martin Luther King Jr., the National Women’s Soccer League and its member clubs invite fans and stakeholders to join us in a day of service Monday, January 17th. To do this, the league and several clubs have provided a list of black-owned businesses and volunteer organizations for those who wish to participate in their home markets. Due to the current status of the Covid-19 pandemic, the day of service is completely optional and all are encouraged to follow local and state health guidelines when participating. The league office has selected **The Night Ministry for Homelessness in Chicago** to donate and support. The Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization that works to provide housing, health care and human connection to members of our community struggling with poverty and homelessness. The ministry serves everyone without concern for race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
