NWSL Announces New Date And Time For Remainder Of Seattle Reign FC-Racing Louisville FC Contest Following Match Abandonment

SEATTLE (September 15, 2025) – The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) today announced the updated date and time for the continuation of Sunday night’s match between Seattle Reign FC and Racing Louisville FC.

The game, which was abandoned at halftime following a medical emergency involving Racing midfielder Savannah DeMelo, will resume at the start of the second half on Tuesday, September 16, at Lumen Field with the score tied at 0-0. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET.

The remainder of the match will be played in a closed-door setting but will remain available to fans on both NWSL+ and Paramount+ in the U.S., and internationally on Plus.NWSLSoccer.com and across the NWSL’s international distributors.

DeMelo is in stable condition, and the league remains in contact with Racing medical staff as she continues to receive care.
