Tacoma, Washington The Houston Dash and OL Reign were both held scoreless in their match on Friday night in Tacoma.

The match started as a seesaw affair for both sides as they saw chances in the first 30 minutes. Katie Stengel and Leah Pruitt had late chances for Houston and OL, respectively, but neither could find the back of the net and the score remained at zeroes going into the break. The second half started with a flurry of chances on both sides from Shea Groom and Bethany Balcer. Sofia Huerta had the best chance of the match as her volley in the 62nd minute, but Lindsey Harris was equal to the task. Both sides failed to find the net and they both took a point from the night. OL Reign (0-0-0) will return to play on April 21st as they travel to Providence Park to take on their rival Portland Thorns FC (2-0-0) in what should be one of the most anticipated matches of the Challenge Cup presented by Secret Deodorant. That match will take place on CBS Sports Network and kickoff will start at 10pm ET. Houston (0-0-1) returns to action on April 26th when they travel to Legends Field to take on KC NWSL (0–1-0) on Paramount + at 8:30pm ET.
