**Kansas**** City****, ****Kans****as**** ****– **In the last game before the Challenge Cup Championship, OL Reign defeated KC NWSL by a score of 2-1. Both sides produced numerous chances in the first half, but it was Mallory Weber who struck gold in the sixth minute with a curler from the top of the box. This gave KC the lead until late in the half, Jordyn Listro brought down Tziarra King in the box and Jess Fishlock converted the penalty to draw the side even. The chances continued in the second frame but both keepers were up to the task with Nicole Barnhart and Karen Bardsley standing tall to mounting chances. That was until the 84th minute when a corner found the head of Celia Jimenez Delgado and she looped it over Barnhart to give OL Reign the victory. OL Reign ends the group stage on two straight wins.and momentum heading into the regular season. Rounding out the Challenge Cup, Portland will get set to face NJ/NY Gotham FC in the Challenge Cup Championship. Kickoff is at 1pm ET and will be broadcasted on CBS.
