Peyton Manning knows a thing or two about a winning football team. Now, the two-time Super Bowl winner is taking the jump from American football to fútbol.

Peyton is now an investor in the Denver expansion team, further rooting himself in the Mile High City's sporting culture. The currently unnamed team is set to join the league starting in 2026.

Though Peyton is the elder Manning brother, he is following in younger brother Eli's footsteps here. Eli is an investor in Gotham FC. In a FaceTime video posted to social media, Peyton broke the news to Eli in classic older brother fashion.

"Remember you were telling me the reason you like the NWSL is because you didn't have to compete with me," Peyton said.

"Yeah," Eli said with a tone of suspicion. "Uh, why?"

"Well....," Payton said as he pans the camera down showing off his new Denver swag.

What follows is not suitable for print on the NWSL website, but can only be explained as a younger brother expletive filled tirade.

The Mannings are the most fun when they're smack talking, and now, fans will get to see them duke it out on behalf of their respective teams.

Nothing like a little brotherly competition to raise the stakes.
