Crystal Dunn has been voted Player of the Week for Week 13 of the 2018 season by the NWSL Media Association.The North Carolina Courage got back to their winning ways thanks to a two-goal performance from Dunn to top Seattle Reign FC 4-1 in Week 13 action. Dunn now has six goals on the season, second only to Christine Sinclair‘s seven for first in the NWSL. In addition to scoring twice, Dunn finished the game with six shots on goal and five chances created, according to Opta. This is the eighth time Dunn has been recognized as Player of the Week, and she currently holds the record as the all-time leader of this award. The Courage forward’s first goal against the Reign came in the 33rd minute. Courage forward Lynn Williams found Dunn at the top of the box and Dunn settled the ball and then struck it near post for the 2-1 lead. Dunn scored again in the 70th minute to seal the game at 4-1. Williams combined with Dunn once again and Dunn finished far post.
