Racing Louisville partner with Kentucky Fertility Institute accepting donations through the end of October
NEW YORK (October 16, 2024) - Racing Louisville FC and head coach Bev Yanez have partnered with Kentucky Fertility Institute to run a fundraising drive to support women and families experiencing pregnancy loss. All proceeds will go to Resolve, the National Infertility Association dedicated to ensuring that all people facing challenges throughout their family building journey receive the support and resources necessary through knowledge, community and advocacy.
The partnership comes after Yanez and her family experienced a loss of her pregnancy this past summer. In the time following the announcement, Yanez received an outpouring of support from both the Louisville and global soccer community despite describing the loss of her pregnancy as devastating. The support and love received during this time led the former NWSL player and current head coach to foster a commitment of supporting other families who are experiencing the hardships of pregnancy loss.
Since 2021, Racing Louisville and Kentucky Fertility Institute have been partners to ensure that players have the necessary resources for family planning support. Kentucky Fertility Institute offers complimentary fertility preservation services, including egg freezing, embryo freezing and long-term storage. The institute focuses on patient-centered family planning healthcare to accommodate patients’ values and preferences along with their medical needs and design a truly individualized care plan for each patient.
Donations can be made here through the end of October. The Kentucky Fertility Institute will match donations up to $5,000.
