Seattle Reign FC forward Megan Rapinoe has been ruled out of the United States women’s national team’s upcoming friendlies vs. Chile due to the rib injury that kept her out of Seattle’s 1-1 draw with the North Carolina Courage in Week 22, U.S. Soccer announced on Monday.Rapinoe will be replaced on the roster by Utah Royals FC forward Amy Rodriguez. Rapinoe suffered the rib injury last week in Seattle’s 2-0 win over the Houston Dash. The USWNT will play Chile on Friday, August 31, in Carson, California (11 p.m. ET, ESPN2) and Tuesday, September 4, in San Jose, California (10 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and UDN).
