Six NWSL Players Nominated for 2024 FIFPRO Women’s World 11

The 2024 FIFPRO Women’s World 11 finalists have been announced, and six players from the NWSL are among the 26 total nominees. This honor celebrates the world’s best players across all positions, as chosen by their peers in professional football.

What is the FIFPRO Women’s World 11?

The FIFPRO World 11 is solely voted on by players from around the world–almost 7,000–with performances from August 21, 2023 to August 10, 2024 within the window of consideration. Players must have appeared in at least 20 official matches during that period.

The 11 players who received the most votes in their position are then selected for the World 11, which will be revealed on Monday, December 9th, 2024 from 8:00 AM EST on FIFPRO’s digital platforms.
