Defender Erin Simon has been waived by Sky Blue FC, the club announced Friday.Simon joined Sky Blue FC in 2016 and made 26 appearances in her time with the team. She suffered a left foot fracture last season and began this season on the 45-day disabled list due to hardware being removed from the same foot. Also on Friday, Sky Blue FC announced that midfielder Thaisa and defender Amanda Frisbie are officially with the team. Thaisa missed the first three games of the season due to international duty with Brazil.
