Portland Thorns FC forward [**Hayley Raso**](https://www.nwslsoccer.com/players/view/1to70vfsch5kwvw3kjgo1iggl) scored a brace as the Thorns won on the road in Seattle, 2-1 over the Reign. The win came in front of a crowd of 6,041 at Memorial Stadium in Seattle to conclude the Cascadia rivalry in 2017. Both teams finished the series 1-1-1.With the win, the Thorns became the first team in NWSL history to win 50 games. It’s Portland’s first win at Memorial Stadium and first road win over Seattle since 2013. The Thorns (11-5-4, 37 points) remain in second place, five points ahead of the Pride and Red Stars who both won on Saturday as well. Raso’s first goal in the 49th minute as she capitalized on a defensive misplay by the Reign. Reign goalkeeper [**Haley Kopmeyer**](https://www.nwslsoccer.com/players/view/9bhn0azn3wb2wgdczcox6u66t) passed the ball to defender [**Kristen McNabb**](https://www.nwslsoccer.com/players/view/6p2318moul9op4hmigk1xbaw9), but McNabb took a heavy first touch and Raso was able to pounce on a loose ball and hit it past Kopmeyer to make it 1-0. [Empty Body] Raso scored her second in the 85th minute, the eventual game-winner. Thorns captain [**Christine Sinclair**](https://www.nwslsoccer.com/players/view/cfx9wllh2x6ozkvqxusa3sl3p) sent a long ball over the top to Raso on the right wing. Raso was able to keep the ball away from Reign defender [**Lauren Barnes**](https://www.nwslsoccer.com/players/view/7lt9nze7e2mk2hlp9dkvabkyd) and take a shot on Kopmeyer. The Reign goalkeeper made the initial save, but Raso picked up the rebound and scored. [Empty Body] Raso now has five goals this season, tied with Sinclair for the team lead. It’s the first brace of Raso’s NWSL career. Thorns rookie forward [**Savannah Jordan**](https://www.nwslsoccer.com/players/view/alylknvanmyrw79zp0rhnb105) made her NWSL debut in the match, subbing on in the 88th minute. Jordan was selected in the second round of the 2017 NWSL College Draft, the 18th overall pick, and signed with team on August 1st. She was removed from the disabled list on Thursday before making her debut on Saturday. Reign midfielder [**Jess Fishlock**](https://www.nwslsoccer.com/players/view/93d5k82qrmjr894k2hp5aril1) converted a penalty kick in the 90th minute, but Seattle could not even the score in stoppage time. Thorns defender [**Meghan Klingenberg**](https://www.nwslsoccer.com/players/view/bnnc9csv7qrc2xgx7yzgxlcr9) was issued a yellow card for a foul in the box that set up the penalty. [Empty Body] It’s the first time the Reign have lost consecutive matches at Memorial Stadium. The Reign remain on 27 points and out of a playoff spot. They will next visit the Dash in Houston Sunday. The Thorns will next host the Spirit on Saturday.
