Most recently, she played for Brisbane Roar of the W-League in Australia last season and scored two goals in 13 games. “Katrina is a player that I have watched for a few years now. She has experience of playing in the U.S. with FC Kansas City,” Utah head coach Laura Harvey said in a club press release. “Since she was here, she has gone away and developed her game further, and now together we felt it was the right time for her to come back to the league. Katrina has proven she can play anywhere in the world and I’m excited to get her back to the NWSL.” On the international side, Gorry has 14 goals in 56 appearances for Australia. The Matildas will next take part in the Algarve Cup, which begins February 28. After that, they’ll have their FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying tournament, the AFC Women’s Asian Cup, from April 7-22.
