North Carolina Courage forward Kristen Hamilton has been voted the Week 15 NWSL Player of the Week by the NWSL Media Association.Hamilton scored for the Courage and then set up the game-winning goal in the second half as the Courage downed Utah Royals FC 2-1. After North Carolina fell behind on a tally from Christen Press, Hamilton provided the spectacular in the 35th minute. Sam Mewis played the ball forward and Hamilton controlled the ball with her chest before scoring on a sliding volley attempt. In the second half, Hamilton showed good strength and speed to beat a Royals FC defender before slotting the ball across the face of the goal for Jessica McDonald to score the eventual game-winner in the 55th minute. Hamilton has now won Player of the Week three times this season, earning the honor in Week 8 and Week 12.
