What to watch for:
FC Kansas City Sydney Leroux, the Week 7 NWSL Player of the Week, will be looking to make her first international appearance since October 2015 after missing all of 2016 due to the birth of her son. Boston Breakers goalkeeper Abby Smith could make her debut for the senior national team. She is the only uncapped player on the roster for the games vs. Sweden and Norway. North Carolina Courage defender Abby Dahlkemper was named to her first roster since earning her first two caps in October 2016 vs. Switzerland. She is the NWSL-record holder for consecutive minutes played, an active streak. Sweden ousted the United States from the Olympics in 2016, beating the U.S. in penalty kicks in the quarterfinals. The United States has never beaten Sweden under former USA coach Pia Sundhage. The United States will wear rainbow numbers on their jerseys in honor of LGBTQ Pride month.
