Kerr earns the honor for the second straight month, only the second player in NWSL history to record the feat, joining former Reign FC midfielder **Kim Little**, who won in April and May en route to winning league MVP in 2014. On the goal, Kerr’s initial cross was blocked, but she grabbed the rebound and found Rodriguez open in the box for the goal. She then recorded two breakaway goals to seal the three road points, celebrating with a memorable backflip after her second goal. She is the first Sky Blue FC player to ever win the honor twice. She now has 31 career goals, second among all active NWSL players.
